Individual Support
The main support for The Gospel Hiway KGHY is from listeners just like you. Our listeners are individuals who have committed to prayerfully allow God to lead in their giving. We send out a our newsletter with a return envelope once a month as a reminder.
With everyone doing their part, all the needs of the ministry are met each month.
Funding Acknowledgments
Churches and businesses support this ministry. We acknowledge their support on-air by giving their name, address, phone number and a brief, non-descriptive statement of the service or product they offer. For a contribution of $200.00 the church or business is acknowledge 30 times (usually once a day for a month). For more information phone 888-477-4273 or (contact us here). Also, if you choose, you can sponsor a daily newscast or weekend program of your choice. A daily newscast, at the same time Monday thru Friday, is sponsored for $200/mo. A segment of a week-end program, played 4 times a weekend, is sponsored for $160/mo.
Promotional Spots
Even though we are a non-commercial station, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) allows us to do promotional announcements for non-profit organizations. Therefore, we sell announcements to promote revivals, concerts, and other church related events. There are several packages to choose from.
$35 package has 5 spots
$70 package has 10 spots
$135 package has 20 spots
$200 package has 30 spots
* $5 for each additional spot over 30
They are placed into a rotation for an even distribution. We will produce the announcement without charge. For more information phone 888-477-4273.
Day Sponsors
These sponsors fund a portion of each hour for the entire day. The special day may be an anniversary or birthday. It may be Pastor Appreciation Day, Mothers Day, or Valentines Day. The possibilities are endless. The purpose is to give honor and thanks to whom it is due. Give us the information, and we will produce the spots and play them once an hour, throughout the day. The Gospel Hiway KGHY strives to honor the Lord by following these stewardship
practices:
1.) We will encourage our listeners to fulfill their financial obligations
to the local church before supporting the ministry of The Gospel
Hiway KGHY.
2.) In keeping with the admonition found in Proverbs 22:7 that “the
borrower is servant to the lender,” The Gospel Hiway KGHY will
operate within the confines of the income the Lord provides through
our listeners. In other words (we got no debt!!!)
3.) We commit to make careful and considerate decisions in advancing
the ministry, so that each and every gift has maximum impact for
the Kingdom.
4.) We will plan our budget carefully, keeping in mind not only
the needs of the ministry, but our donor family.
5.) As a donor, you have entrusted us with important personal and
financial information. The Gospel Hiway KGHY commits to maintain the
highest levels of security on our internal computer network, as
well as our external website. You can rest assured that all personal
and financial information is available only to The Gospel Hiway KGHY,
to allow us to properly correspond with you and document your support
for tax purposes.
