We are an interdenominational
radio station. We believe God wants us as believers to be united as
one, so the ministry was founded with this in mind. When the Lord changed
my life, southern gospel was the music of choice. I started working for
a southern gospel station in Pasadena Texas and knew the Lord
wanted me to be a part of Christian radio.
We started this ministry in 1998 when we applied for an FM station in
Beaumont, Texas. We were finally awarded that station on May 30th, 2007 and signed KGHY 88.5 on the air debt free, Saturday January 10th, 2009 at 10:23am.
In the year 1999 the Lord impressed upon my heart to begin to reach people
through Internet radio. With God's help (mostly God) we made it happen
and now are serving several thousand people a day and so many lives have
been blessed and changed through the ministry of The Gospel Hiway. We
have been broadcasting 24 hours a day with non stop Southern Gospel Music,
Ministry and Prayer. We would not have it any other way. We pray this
ministry brings you the encouragement you need daily, and will be a true
blessing in your daily lives.
